What We Don't Do

• We don't store your assignment data on our servers
• We don't track your usage or behavior
• We don't use analytics cookies
• We don't sell or share any information
• We don't require login or account creation

What We Do

• All processing happens in your browser
• Your assignments are parsed locally on your device
• Your study plan is generated without sending data to external servers
• We use local storage only if you explicitly choose to "Remember my text"
• We respect your browser's privacy settings

Optional Local Storage

KatyPlan includes an optional "Remember my text on this device" feature (default: OFF). When enabled, your last assignment input is stored locally in your browser's storage to save you time on your next visit. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not accessible by us or any third party
• Can be cleared at any time by disabling the feature
• Is automatically cleared when you clear your browser data

Third-Party Services

KatyPlan uses the following third-party services for functionality:

• Tailwind CSS: For styling (CDN delivery)
• Google Fonts: For typography (Inter font)
• CDN Libraries: For animations and effects

These services may collect standard web logs (IP address, browser type, etc.) according to their own privacy policies. We do not control or have access to this data.

Data Security

While we don't store your data, we still take security seriously:

• All data processing happens client-side
• No sensitive information is transmitted over the network
• The application is served over HTTPS
• We follow security best practices in our code

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We will never make changes that reduce your privacy without clear notice.
